Welcome to Sticker Beaver®. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (stickerbeaver.ca), products, and services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
1. Definitions
“Sticker Beaver,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means Sticker Beaver®, its owners, and affiliates.
“User,” “you,” or “your” means any individual or entity accessing or using our services.
“Website” refers to stickerbeaver.ca and all related pages, content, and digital properties.
“Order” means any purchase request placed through the website.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province or territory, to create an account or place an order. By using our website, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Account Creation and Management
3.1 Account Registration
To place orders or access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to update it as necessary.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Sticker Beaver is not liable for loss or damages from unauthorised use.
3.3 Account Ownership
Accounts are tied to the person or entity that created them. Sticker Beaver does not mediate or determine ownership between employees, employers, or collaborators. Files uploaded under an account are deemed authorised by the account holder.
3.4 Account Transfers
Accounts cannot be transferred or shared without our written consent. If an employee or team member leaves your organisation, it is your responsibility to change passwords or delete the account to prevent unauthorised access.
3.5 Account Deletion
You may request deletion directly through our data deletion option available in your account settings, or by contacting [email protected]. Accounts with active or pending orders cannot be deleted until those orders are completed. Once deleted, order details and proofing communications may no longer be accessible.
3.6 Inactive Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend or delete inactive or non compliant accounts at our discretion.
3.7 Data Retention
We retain order and proofing information only for the purpose of facilitating reorders, quality assurance, or record keeping. This may include basic order details, proof approvals, and securely stored artwork files. Customers may opt out at any time by requesting deletion via email at [email protected] or by using the data deletion button in their account dashboard. Once a deletion request is confirmed, all related personal data and proofing records are permanently removed, except where retention is required by law or for an active order in progress.
4. Orders and Production
4.1 Order Confirmation
Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders begin production after payment and proof approval, if applicable.
4.2 Proofing Process
If your order includes digital proofing, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the proof. Approval constitutes final confirmation, and production will proceed as approved.
4.3 Cancellations and Changes
Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once proof approval or production has begun.
4.4 Turnaround and Shipping
Turnaround times begin after proof approval and payment. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.
4.5 Free Shipping Policy
Free shipping may be available on eligible orders within Canada through a standard Canada Post envelope service. This option is untracked and uninsured. Delivery times are estimates only and may range from 2 to 15 business days depending on destination. By selecting this option, you acknowledge that Sticker Beaver is not liable for loss, delay, or damage once the shipment has been accepted by the carrier. If you require tracking, insurance coverage, or faster delivery, you may choose an upgraded shipping method at checkout for an additional cost.
Expedited and Express shipping options are available through multiple carriers and include tracking and insurance. These services are not free unless specifically stated at checkout. Sticker Beaver reserves the right to select the carrier of our choice for Expedited or Express shipments and to upgrade qualifying Free Shipping orders to a tracked or faster service at our sole discretion based on order size, weight, value, or destination.
To fulfill and deliver your order, Sticker Beaver shares necessary order information such as recipient name, shipping address, contact details, and order contents with our trusted shipping partners solely for the purpose of completing delivery. These partners are required to protect your information and use it only for shipping related functions.
4.6 Manufacturing Turnaround
Production begins after payment and proof approval. Standard manufacturing time is approximately 4 to 5 business days for about 80% of our orders. Larger or more complex orders may require additional time depending on volume and production capacity. Proof approvals received after 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time are treated as approved the next business day. While we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, production and delivery times are not guaranteed.
5. Uploaded Files and Artwork
5.1 User Responsibility and Warranties
By uploading any file, you confirm that you own the rights to reproduce it or have obtained full permission from the rights holder. You warrant that the content you provide does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or third party rights, and you assume full responsibility for its use. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sticker Beaver from any claims, costs, or damages that may result from printing or reproducing materials you submit.
5.2 File Handling
Sticker Beaver does not review uploaded content for ownership or accuracy. We rely entirely on the user’s confirmation of authorisation.
5.3 File Retention
For quality assurance and reprints, artwork files may be retained securely and privately by Sticker Beaver. Only proofing communications and basic order details are visible through your account.
5.4 Prohibited Content
You may not upload or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.
5.5 Intellectual Property
All uploaded designs remain the property of their rightful owners. Sticker Beaver claims no ownership of user submitted artwork.
5.6 Marketing and Display Rights
By placing an order, you grant Sticker Beaver a limited, non exclusive, royalty free licence to use images or reproductions of your printed products for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media posts, website galleries, printed samples, and advertising materials. This licence is for display only and does not grant Sticker Beaver ownership or creative rights over your artwork. You may withdraw this permission at any time by emailing [email protected], and we will remove your artwork from future use.
6. Pricing and Payment
6.1 Prices
All prices are in Canadian dollars, CAD, and subject to change without notice. Taxes are calculated based on the delivery address at checkout.
6.2 Payments
Payment is required in full before production begins. Accepted payment methods are displayed on the website.
6.3 Promotions and Discounts
Discount codes or promotional offers are valid only for the time and terms stated.
7. Shipping, Delivery, and Pick Up
7.1 Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Sticker Beaver is not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the user.
7.2 Risk of Loss
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once the order is delivered to the carrier.
7.3 Delays and Damage
We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by third party carriers. Any claims for damaged or lost packages must be filed directly with the carrier.
7.4 Force Majeure
Sticker Beaver shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing any obligation under these Terms when such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, fires, floods, pandemics, strikes, labour disputes, transportation interruptions, acts of war or terrorism, government restrictions, power outages, or failures of communication networks. In such cases, order timelines may be extended or delivery rescheduled without liability to Sticker Beaver.
7.5 Local Pick Up Policy
Sticker Beaver offers local pick up options for customer convenience. Pick up may be available at attended locations during regular business hours, or at designated unattended drop boxes as specified in your order confirmation. Customers must verify the correct pick up location and schedule before arriving.
Pick ups are available only during our posted operating hours on business days. Pick up is not available on weekends, statutory holidays, or outside of posted hours. Sticker Beaver is not responsible for delays, missed collections, or losses arising from attempts to pick up orders outside of scheduled times.
Orders must be collected within 30 calendar days from the date of the pick up notification. After 30 days, uncollected orders may be disposed of without refund or liability. The local pick up service is provided strictly for order collection and is not a storage service.
Sticker Beaver uses both company operated and third party partner locations for order pick up. By selecting a pick up option, you acknowledge that some locations may be operated by independent third parties. Sticker Beaver delivers your order to the designated pick up point in good condition, and responsibility for the order transfers to you or the pickup location operator upon delivery. Sticker Beaver is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or delays that occur after the order is delivered to or made available at a third party pickup location.
Once an order has been signed for at an attended location or retrieved from an unattended drop box, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer. Sticker Beaver is not liable for loss or damage after collection.
8. Returns and Reprints
8.1 Custom Products
Because our products are custom made, all sales are final.
8.2 Defective or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives defective or incorrect due to our error, contact [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos and will offer a reprint or credit if verified.
9. Intellectual Property, Sticker Beaver Content
All website content, including text, graphics, logos, designs, and images, is owned or licensed by Sticker Beaver® and protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the site without written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sticker Beaver and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including loss of profits or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sticker Beaver®, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of our website or services, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
