Stickers & Labels Frequently Asked Questions
“Are Sticker Beaver Stickers and Labels Made Overseas?”
Short Answer, No!
Long Answer, Hell no!!
100% of our Operation is based in Canada, meaning everything we use (our materials, labor and the double double we drink every morning) comes from Canadian Businesses, supporting the local economy is one of our priorities.
“What is your turnaround time?”
Our current turnaround time is 3 business days on average + shipping times. The turnaround time on your order with Sticker Beaver starts when you’ve paid in full, we have all information required to complete your order (all artworks, correct files, shipping info, etc) & your digital proofs have been approved. Delay in receipt of any of this info will result in production delays.
Most proofs are sent within 24 business hours after receiving payment and all necessary information.
Complex orders or changes may increase this turnaround.
Delay in approval of proofs could also result in production delays.
Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional expenses.
Any circumstances out of Sticker Beaver’s control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the courier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turnaround time estimate
“What Is The Difference Between a Sticker And a Label?”
The name… Bwahahaha! No seriously they are pretty much the same base product with a couple of differences.
Stickers have a clear overlaminate film that protects from abrasion, scratches and offers an extra UV layer of protection since stickers will be used in exterior application for the most part and exposed more directly to direct sunlight whereas labels won’t.
Another key difference is finishing, stickers can be cut as single pieces ( Die cut, Kiss cut ), Labels on the other hand only sheets
“What Are The Stickers And Labels Made Out Off?”
Our Products are printed on Soft PVC Vinyl Material
“How do I know when my order is ready?”
Our system will send you a notification as soon as we mark your order as “Complete” once you receive the confirmation you order is either been shipped, mailed, ready for pick up or waiting for the courier company to pick it up for local delivery
“Can I pick up my order at your store?”
Yes! you can local pick up between 9:30 AM ~ 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
“Are your vinyl stickers and vinyl labels waterproof and good for exterior?”
Yes, all our vinyl stickers and vinyl labels are weatherproof and UV resistant, able to withstand exterior conditions
“How About Our Beautiful Canadian Winters?”
Yepper! The only consideration is the application temperature, we recommend 5C as the minimum application temperature, once the vinyl sticker or vinyl label is applied, it can resist -40 or even colder in some cases
“Are Your Stickers And Labels Writeable?”
Absolutely! we only recommend the use of permanent marker for better results.
“What is your minimum order?”
Our minimum order value is $20, the amount of stickers included in the minimum order will vary based on the dimensions of the stickers.
Sticker Beaver reserves the right to change pricing without notice.
“How Sticky And Durable Are The Stickers And Labels?”
Very! although they should peel off most smooth surfaces if needed, allowing for re positioning in case of an error on initial application, this is very handy when applying labels to bottles/ containers.
Our custom stickers are covered with a clear overlaminate film to protect against scratches and abrasion, so they stand up pretty well for years when applied under the right conditions/substrate.
“Can The Stickers And Labels Be Used On Products That Are Refrigerated Or Frozen?”
As the adhesive used on our Stickers and Labels is a permanent adhesive, use on refrigerated is ok. The Stickers and Labels can also be placed in freezers with no issues of ink smearing, Ideally they should be first adheres at room temperate, and then frozen. Do not apply Stickers and Labels to already frozen materials.
The Stickers and Labels are safe to use on food packaging but keep in mind that our stickers and labels are NOT approved for direct contact with food.
“Can I see a digital proof after I place my order?”
You Bet! You will receive a digital proof once your order has been placed. Most proofs are sent within 24hrs after receiving payment and all necessary information and will need to be approved in order to start productio
“I received a link with a proof, what now?”
Your digital proof will show you how your stickers are going to be cut and printed. Proofs must be checked for spelling, color, sizes, placement of the art and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the proofs, as this is how your stickers will print. Sticker Beaver will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Artwork needs to be approved in order to start production.
“What is the difference between KISS CUT and DIE CUT stickers?”
